About Me
👋 Hey There
I'm Harshitha (Harshi), and my career has been a dynamic path from into Product Management.
I earned my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, followed by a Masters of Science in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Machine Intelligence from Virginia Tech. This academic path instilled in me a deep understanding of complex systems and the cutting edge of AI.
For the past three-plus years, I've been working across a fascinating range of domains, from healthcare and railroad logistics to retail. My consulting background means I’ve tackled diverse, complex challenges, and how to translate a big vision into an actionable plan. My greatest strength is spotting the unseen connection between technology and human needs.
I stepped into my PM journey right around the time ChatGPT first burst onto the scene. Talk about perfect timing! Over these last few years, we’ve watched AI transform from a buzzword into the bedrock of modern product development. It’s no longer a futuristic concept; it’s our current reality.
But here’s the thing: this rapid evolution isn't a threat—it's the greatest opportunity of our professional lives. There's a persistent whisper that AI will replace Product Managers, but I firmly believe that’s missing the point. AI isn't coming for our jobs; it's here to abolish the tedious parts of our jobs, freeing us up for the truly high-impact, human-centric work we signed up for.
Why This Blog Exists
I started this blog, Prodzilla, as my personal sandbox and a communal blueprint for the future. It’s where we explore AI not as a scary competitor, but as the ultimate co-pilot. We’ll dive into how PMs can use generative AI to:
⚡ Supercharge Efficiency: Automate user research, accelerate documentation, and speed up market analysis.
💡 Drive Innovation: Conceptualize truly AI-native features that redefine your product category.
⚖️ Manage the Future: Navigate the ethical, strategic, and technical challenges of building with AI.
This is our space to figure out how to evolve and thrive in this new landscape, ensuring we don't just keep up, but actually lead the charge. Let's learn to build better products, faster, and smarter—together!
